Director & Founder of The Diabetes Football Community

Chris is the founder of the project and has had Type 1 Diabetes since 1999. He has a masters degree in Sport and has played Football for his county, university and as a semi-professional. He became a Wales Futsal International in 2016 and was also called into the England Universities Futsal squad in January 2018. Following his success at England Universities and performances for the University of Worcester, he was awarded Male Athlete of the Year at the University for the 2017/18 season. Chris lives and breathes football and began TDFC in February 2017, where he brings his own experience as a diabetic to the project. He is also an honorary fellow at the University of Worcester and supports Aston Villa FC.
